Flea Control

This treatment is designed to control fleas commonly found on cats and dogs by targeting key harbourage areas inside the home and outdoor pet zones. Professional-grade products are used to reduce activity, break the flea life cycle, and help prevent reinfestation.

Common Flea Activity Areas

  • Carpets and rugs (especially where pets sleep or rest)

  • Pet bedding, blankets, and soft furnishings

  • Lounge rooms and upholstered furniture

  • Under furniture and along skirting boards

  • Bedrooms (especially carpeted areas and pet-access rooms)

  • Outdoor shaded areas where pets spend time (verandahs, kennels, under decks)

Common Fleas

  • Cat flea (Ctenocephalides felis)

  • Dog flea (Ctenocephalides canis)

  • Human flea (Pulex irritans)

Important Safety Note
All people and pets must leave the property during indoor flea treatment and remain out until surfaces are fully dry (usually 2-4 hours).

Follow-up treatments are recommended 7–14 days after the initial treatment to help eliminate newly emerged fleas and ensure complete control. We use a residual spray to kill adult fleas and an insect growth regulator (IGR) to disrupt the life cycle by stopping immature fleas from developing into breeding adults. Because pupae can be protected in a cocoon, some adults may still emerge after the first visit, so a second treatment is often recommended to finish the job. Only adult fleas bite.
