Moth Control
Moth treatments are pest-specific and targeted. Most “moth problems” inside homes and Businesses are caused by clothes moths (that damage natural fibres) or pantry moths (that infest stored foods). Because moths lay eggs in hidden areas and the larvae do the damage, treatment focuses on active areas and likely harbourage points to help reduce activity and prevent ongoing problems.
Common Moth Activity Areas
-
Wardrobes, drawers, and linen cupboards
-
Carpets, rugs, and under furniture (especially wool or natural fibres)
-
Stored clothing, blankets, and soft furnishings
-
Skirting edges and cracks/crevices around storage areas
-
Kitchens and pantries (inside cupboards and around stored dry foods)
-
Garages and storage rooms with boxed fabrics or stored goods
Common Moths
-
Clothes moths (wardrobe moths)
-
Pantry moths (Indian meal moth)
Important Safety Note
In most moth treatments involving targeted crack-and-crevice applications, people and pets may remain on the property. If an internal spray treatment is required, all occupants and pets must leave the property and remain out until treated surfaces are fully dry, usually 2–4 hours. Food items, utensils, and exposed surfaces should be covered or removed prior to treatment.
Follow-up treatments may be recommended depending on moth type, infestation severity, and how quickly activity reduces after the initial service. If required, we’ll discuss this with you and confirm pricing before booking.
